La Tortilleria is a Mexican wholesale supplier and eatery which brings pure, time-honoured Mexican food experiences to life through our award winning tortillas and totopos. Using the ancient Aztec craft of nixtamal, our uniquely flavoursome and nutritious products will take you on a journey through the colourful streets of Mexico and its tortillerias.

We prepare our tortillas and totopos with care using Australian-grown corn and share them with Australia’s leading restaurants, cafés, home cooks and retailers. We invite you to enjoy the tradition of La Tortilleria.

What everyone is saying about our tortillas

Stepping into fresh nixtamalised corn tortillas is just incomparable to any other product that we’ve seen, and here at Mamasita we’ll certainly never go back.

Andrew Logan ~ Head Chef, Mamasita

The best and most authentically flavoured Mexican foods in Australia…truly world class and in a league of their own: uniquely-ancient, delicious and a pre requisite for the serious foodies, chefs and restaurateurs.

Paul Wilson ~ Chef, restaurant founder, and author of ‘Cantina’ and ‘Taqueria’ Mexican recipe books

La Tortilleria provide an exceptional level of authenticity and freshness in their tortillas. As the product is made from fresh ground corn, the texture, flavour, freshness and nutritional quality in the product is unrivalled.

Tim McDonald ~ Co-founder & Owner, Fonda Mexican Restaurants

I truly believe you will not find a better tortilla this side of Mexico… I have recommended La Tortilleria to many of my chef friends and have never had any argument that they are absolutely the best.  I highly recommend them.

Improving the taco menu by changing over to nixtamal tortillas from La Tortilleria was probably the smartest change we did. The tortilla alone gave the tacos an additional layer of amazing authentic flavour and these didn’t break like the tortillas made from corn-flour.

We love La Tortilleria tortillas… Fantastic service, we couldn’t make great tacos without them.  We are so grateful to have access to these beautiful tortillas made from fresh masa.
