A GREAT TACO STARTS WITH A GREAT TORTILLA BUT NOT ALL CORN TORTILLAS ARE CREATED EQUALLY
Our white corn tortillas are created using an ancient Aztek method called Nixtamalization – a delicate process that involves whole corn kernels being soaked overnight & ground into a natural corn dough called masa. We do this under the close supervision of our 4th generation Nixtamal tortilla maker, Isaac, allowing us to achieve a consistent flavour & texture. This means there is no masa harina (corn flour) in sight, & no preservatives or additives. The result? A healthier, aromatic & malleable tortilla that adds flavour & depth to any dish. Our tortillas taste like they do in the villages of Mexico & are a staple for many iconic Mexican creations, complementing almost any filling or salsa.

Our totopos (tortilla chips) are a real chip off the ol’ block. They’re made from our nixtamal corn tortillas, & then lightly fried for a delicious crunch & taste. Our totopos are gluten free, preservative free, non-GMO, wholegrain & contain zero trans fat. Why is this important, you ask? It means you’re eating a healthier tortilla chip that is perfect for snacking, dipping, or eating on their own. They have an authentic corn taste that adds flavour to any dish & they’re a great way to elevate your favourite Mexican meal, like a ceviche or chilaquiles (Mexican nachos). This is not your average corn chip!
